Scripture Reading: Matthew 18:19-20

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:19—20)

This promise reveals the truth of the power there is in unity. Unity between even two people releases a great and powerful energy. It makes it possible for mortals to become giants of faith and deeds.

There is an unknown and unrecognized power and strength in unity. It is so beautiful when two people are close friends who see eye-to-eye that it causes both heaven and hell to take notice (Isaiah 52:8). When two people are in the Spirit and flow together in the unity of holy oneness the Father can use them as a two-edged sword in His hand. The words they speak are more effective and they can influence people in a powerful way and change nations for good.

And Satan knows the power and strength which there is in such oneness. Therefore he will send every kind of evil against such two friends to try to separate them. And if he can be effective and break them up he does great harm to the spirit of unity in the Kingdom of God, and causes much pain and grief in the hearts of those whom he sets at naught against each other. Sometimes the pain can be so great that it can cause terrible harm, such as the loss of ambition, the loss of health, the loss of life (i.e. death by sickness, and possibly even suicide).

But when two of My children know Me and love Me and love each other dearly and flow together in the spirit of unity and oneness it produces such positive vibrations that angels and saints love to be in their presence, and even I come and dwell in their midst.

This unity makes their prayers powerful and effective, so that whatever they agree upon on earth shall be done for them of My Father who is in Heaven.

Therefore, I warn you, do all you can to keep these beautiful friendly relationships, for Satan will do all he can to break them up and cause great harm to My Kingdom. For he knows the power of unity.

Satan operates as one. He is a lone ruler. But I and My Father and the Holy Spirit are one unit. So we have much greater power.

The power of two people united (like David and Jonathan) is revealed through Moses’ last song, that one would chase a thousand and two would put ten thousand to flight. (Deuteronomy 32:30) This is a huge revelation of the strength behind unity.
