Scripture Reading: II Thessalonians 1:1-12

“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” (II Thessalonians 1:7-10)

Is your heart troubled? Has the evil one disturbed your peace and shaken your soul? Is everything twisted and in disorder? Then this message is to you. I am calling you to rest. Rest by standing fast, supported by My constancy.

You need only to stand still and look up into the heavens and there you will see that I am getting ready to return to you.

With Me, come not only the saints and your loved ones, but the armies of heaven who have been given a flaming sword and who are commissioned to punish with vengeance all those who obey not the gospel (the truth I have given). All rebellious ones shall be punished with everlasting destruction by being eternally banned from My presence and the loss of the glory of My power.

But to you, My saints, it shall be the day of your glorification when you are chosen as My bride. For you are betrothed to Me and on that day we will drink the bridal cup of the new wine together as we seal our vows through eternity.
