Scripture Reading — I Timothy 3:1-16
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” (I Timothy 3: 16)
My child, this mystery of godliness did not end when My son was received up into glory; it still continues today in your life and the lives of all of My precious and beloved overcomers. I am made manifest to the world through your flesh. You ask, “how can this be?” It happens every time you let Me live in your being and have full control of your life. Every time you do what I would do, I am being made manifest in your flesh.
“Justified in the Spirit,” My Holy Spirit is with you to guide you through this day and every day. He will vindicate every right thing that He does through your life. You do not justify or vindicate My workings through you, the Holy Spirit will surely do this.
“Seen of angels,” means guarded by angels. Yes, My angels are with you constantly. You could not sleep in safety if you did not have the protection of the constant vigil of angels, for when you sleep you are unable to defend yourself from any danger, physical or spiritual, in any way. Many angels are standing beside you in the hour of the night protecting you from evil spirits who would attack your unprotected mind.
“Preached unto the Gentiles,” Every time you bear witness of Me to the unsaved, you are fulfilling this work which My Son began when He was on earth.
“Believed on in the world,” Many believe because of your life and your witness, just like they did because of Jesus’ life and witness before the religious and wicked.
“Received up into glory.” The last way you will fulfill My workings through you is the way in which you will come home into My eternal abode. The grace with which you say good-bye to the world is as important as the way you have lived your life.
