Scripture Reading—Psalm 139:23-24

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23, 24)

It is a dangerous thing to pray like David did for a heart-searching experience because when it comes, it will reveal things in you which you never knew were there. And, because I always use people to search your heart, it will also reveal things in others which you never knew were in them.

When you are put to the test, you will be shocked at the hidden impurities of your soul. Each impurity and flaw lies undetected within, until they are revealed by the harsh searchlight of devastating experiences. Love is tried, loyalty is tried, humility is put to the test, and many other virtues are put to the test when I try My saints.

You may love someone very dearly and think your love is perfect. But it is not until that one betrays you, talks against you, turns on you and deceives you, that you know if your love is still able to endure. It is easy to love the one who is your friend, but your depth of love is revealed for what it is when that friend crucifies you. I had that eternal love, that is why I was able to call Judas “friend” on the night of betrayal. Self-ambition, self-preservation, and pride is being revealed in these days, because I am going to have a perfect bride.

These are days when I am trying and searching out many hearts. My children will not only be shocked by the evils they find still existing in their hearts, they will also be dismayed in what lies in the hearts of those whom they have loved greatly and called friends, for I am searching the hearts and nothing shall remain hidden.

If you are willing to have the lust and pride, which still remains in you, revealed openly, and if you are humble like David,  and you repent of all impurities in your soul, then I can lead you in the way everlasting and you shall come out as pure gold.

These are days of great trial and testing. That is why friendships are falling apart, marriages are breaking up and family relationships are disintegrating—and more and more of this will happen the closer you come to My coming. Guard your heart, mind, and soul from all evil. Let My love carry you through the dark days ahead. Now is the time to pray,

“Search me, O God, and know my heart today;
Try me, O Saviour, know my thoughts, I pray;
See if there be some wicked way in me:
Cleanse me from ev’ry sin, and set me free!”
