AGE: You must be between 15 and 30 years of age to attend the Retreat. If you are not yet 15 years of age but you have attended before (with a family member, etc.), we still welcome you to attend. As good stewards of the young lives that are being entrusted to us, all adults (age 18+) must fill out a background check form online: Link coming soon.

Youth Pastors, Leaders, and Workers are welcome. We can use your assistance in various ministries of helps, especially in the kitchen. Understand that volunteer helpers will not be able to attend every meeting as you may be serving elsewhere on campus. Please complete a registration form and let us know that you are coming to help. Where to Stay – Engeltal Valley:

We are excited to host everyone at Engeltal, The Valley of the Angles (pictures below)! Single individuals will stay in dormitory style with shared bathrooms. Married couples will stay family-style in private rooms in houses, with shared bathrooms, living room, etc. Rooms are assigned on a first registered/first assigned basis. There is no childcare available for this event. The cost to stay for the event will be $75/person including meals. You can also bring a friend to stay for $25/person including meals (on same registration).

What to Bring:

Everyone must bring a sleeping bag (or sheets and blankets), pillow and towels. Sheets, pillows and blankets will not be provided for beds. If you forget, we charge $5.00 for a set of sheets and towels to cover laundry expenses.

Clothing: EVERYONE SHOULD BRING A BLACK T-SHIRT AND A WHITE T-SHIRT WITH SLEEVES. To see the dress code for your stay, please follow the Code of Conduct link at the bottom of this page.

Bookstore: We have a bookstore like none other. Don’t forget to bring some money to buy the latest books, as well as video/audio recordings of the meetings.

Bring your Bible (with your name in it!), notebook and pen, and a flashlight. Make sure your name and address is written on all of your personal belongings.

If you plan to be on the platform with the worship team or other events, please wear clothing that “covers it all” like t-shirts and jeans instead of tank tops and short skirts or saggy pants. 🙂 To see the dress code for your stay, please follow the Code of Conduct link at the bottom of this page.

Travel:

Our campus will open for guests at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 9th. Please plan your arrival accordingly. Please plan your departure for after lunch on Saturday, August 12th.

If you are planning to drive: The retreat is scheduled to be held on the campus of the Global Outpouring headquarters in the Engeltal Valley (Valley of Angels). The road into the valley is steep and unpaved. If you will be staying in the Valley, please plan to leave your vehicle parked at the Global Outpouring Glory Tabernacle on top of the mountain. It is located five miles south of Jasper on Arkansas Highway 7, just south of Highway 374 (4689 AR 7S, Jasper, AR 72641. GPS coordinates 35.964469,-93.151589). You may call (870) 716-2821 when you get in the area for a shuttle to come to take you into Engeltal for lodging, meals, and classes.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO FLY, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHT BEFORE READING THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.

The Little Rock Airport is a 2 1/2 hour drive barring unforeseen circumstances. That places some limitations on transportation.

In order for you to be picked up at the airport and arrive at Engeltal in time for dinner, please schedule your flight into Little Rock (LIT) to arrive no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9th. Sometimes people need to fly in the day before and spend the night in one of the airport hotels.

So that a whole van load of people won’t have to leave exceptionally early on Sunday, August 13th, please arrange your departure times no earlier than 1:00 p.m. or plan to overnight in one of the airport area hotels and depart the next day.

Important Documents:

All attendees must download the Medical Release/Hold Harmless Form, fill it out, have a parent or guardian sign (or sign it yourself if you are an adult), scan the completed form, and email it to office@globaloutpouring.org. You will not be allowed to attend if we do not receive this form.

Code of Conduct: All attendees are expected to read the Code of Conduct and sign on the registration form his/her agreement to comply with it.

Engeltal: Valley of the Angels

Where is it?

Welcome to the Ozarks! Engeltal (German for Valley of Angels) is nestled in a beautiful cove in the Ozark Mountains and is the Headquarters of Global Outpouring.

Our campus is comprised of a number of homes and buildings, including a classroom, an office complex, and a facility that contains a dormitory, dining room, and chapel. We will house individual ladies and men in dormitory-style accommodations. Some queen-bed rooms in a home environment are available for married couples. All facilities have shared bathrooms. Meals will be served cafeteria-style in the Bethlehem dining room.

This is a “boot camp” type of event, so come prepared to live in community and watch what wonderful relationships will be formed with others who have a passion for Jesus and a longing to serve Him on a deeper level.
