February 27: Abide under the Shadow of the Almighty

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1).

When the Glory-cloud entered the tabernacle, the Glory of God filled the tabernacle and Moses was not able to enter it. You need to understand that the “Shadow of the Almighty” is the Glory of God.

Everything you need is in the wonderful Glory-cloud. It is your hiding place, your place of solace and comfort, your provision. The Glory-cloud brought the manna (Exodus 16:10), and protection. When angry people threatened to stone Joshua and Caleb to death, I saved their lives by covering them with the Glory-cloud (Numbers 14:10).

It is the Glory of Heaven that will comfort you from all sorrows and keep you from missing your loved ones. There is no death where the Glory is. The reason Adam and Eve lost eternal life was because the Glory they were wrapped in departed from them when they sinned. So they lost their protection from sickness and death, sorrow and heartache, and all evil. That is why Cain could become jealous over his brother, Abel, and be so angry at him that he killed him.

The Glory of God fills all of Heaven; it fills all who dwell there with My love and great joy. In that Glory is music, (like Handel’s “Messiah”), artistic giftings, and even the ability to fly like the angels fly. You will be able to fly in Heaven because the Glory will lift you, for gravity has no power when the Glory of God is present in its fullness. That is why Peter and I could walk on the Sea of Galilee, and some of My saints were translated from place to place (Acts 8:39-40).

For forty years the Children of Israel lived under that Glory-cloud. They lacked nothing; their clothing did not wear out, nor did they get sore feet (Deuteronomy 8:5). The Glory will keep you healthy and young forever.

Israel lived day and night under the Glory-cloud; they didn’t move until the Cloud moved. As it says in Exodus 40:36-38, “And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.”

Don’t ever go where there is no Glory-cloud covering over you. You will lose My protection. Terrible things could happen to you.

Remember! “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”  The “Shadow of the Almighty” is the Glory-cloud! Live under the Glory-cloud constantly, and it will be well with your soul!
