Scripture Reading—Psalm 19:1-6
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.” (Psalm 19:1, 2)
Before you go to sleep, take time to take one more look at the lights of Heaven that I created for beauty and decor. I embellished this earth for mankind whom I love. I carpeted the earth with velvety grass. I enhanced it with trees of all kinds and shapes, some even having fruits and nuts for you. I splashed the colours of the rainbow upon the shrubs and gave you scented flowers to make you happy and cheerful.
Then I created rivers and brooks to run through the earth and filled them with sparkling fishes. The animals were created for your companionship and pleasure. Before the fall, a lion was a man’s friend as much as a dog is today. I put birds into the trees to sing songs of cheer and to colour the earth. They are the closest to Heaven’s creation, except for man.
Then I want you to look up and see your ceiling—glorious in the day with silver-lined clouds, on a background of azure blue. Sunsets that are like an artist’s palette and mornings of golden sunrise glory. The sun chases across the blue sky like a strong bridegoom in his finest garments, running a race (Psalm 19:5).
But as evening falls and darkness descends, I light up the night with millions of other worlds and suns. And they are there to speak many mysteries and reveal My greatness to all. Few understand the messages of the heavens. And they are fathomless. But most of all they display to you My handiwork which I created for you to show you My love.
I made this beautiful world for you and then I put you in it. But man has defiled and cursed it. So I have gone to prepare another world for you. When it is ready, I will come and receive you so you can be there with Me forever. It took six days to create this world. Think how glorious the world above will be for I have been preparing it for almost two thousand years. Look at the stars and dream a dream about your future home.
