Filling the World with Fruit

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:3

Dear Intercessors for Israel:

A team of Israeli medical research scientists stunned the world this week with some incredible “good news.”  They announced that they have discovered the first complete cure for cancer.  Dan Aridor, President of Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies (AEBI) stated in a news conference, that they are in the developmental state for treatment.  This whole idea may sound unbelievable since some 18.1 million new cancer cases are diagnosed globally every year.  Every sixth death in the world is attributed to cancer.  Aridor and AEBI CEO Dr. Ilan Morad insist that their treatment, named MuTaTo (multi-target toxin) is ‘essentially’ a cancer anti-biotic – a disruption technology of the highest order (www.jpost.com).

If this miracle treatment succeeds, it will bring hope to millions around the world who battle this dreadful disease.  Its genesis has been blamed on devils, the environment, lifestyles, and age to name a few factors.  Cancer, its very mention brings fear and worry.  Its treatment means rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery, yet total healing is not medically guaranteed.

Healing is the “children’s bread.”  When Jesus was asked to cast a devil from a woman’s daughter, He declared “Let the children first be filled.  For it is not right to take the children’s bread and cast it to the dogs.”  Yet, it was the simple faith and enduring words from a Syrophoenician woman that caused Jesus to be amazed.  For she said:  “Yes, LORD but the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs” (Mk. 7:24-30).  Only from heaven’s throne was this discovery released.  I believe there are more in heaven waiting to be released into the world to those who pray and believe!

Pray for this treatment as it enters into trials.  Pray that it will continue to revolutionize medicine and help humankind.  Pray that this treatment will be accepted and used.  Many of the world’s medical scientists are skeptical of Aridor’s claims.

Israel a Blessing

The LORD God promised to Abraham that He would make of him a great nation and that all the families of the earth would be blessed.  “The Hebrew word for “bless” in Genesis 12:3 is barak (ברך). It means to do or give something of value to someone else; it refers to a special favor, mercy or benefit; a gift bestowed by God. It means to infuse something with holiness or divine purpose. It is the root of the word brakah (ברכה) which we find in those countless passages in the Old Testament” (www.bridgesforpeace.com).

The nation of Israel today, along with its Jewish descendants of Abraham, are bringing this ancient divine promise into fulfilment.  “The Jewish Nation is tiny, numbering less than 1/1000th of the world’s population. Yet its contribution to humanity is astounding; its footprints of blessing, innovation and aid etched into the areas of mankind’s greatest need” (www.jpost.com).

Just this week, Israel has sent in a 130-member IDF search and rescue team to Brazil to help that nation recover from catastrophic collapse of a dam.  Many citizens are missing and the nation of Israel is there assisting and being a blessing to all of the world.  So far, no other nation but Israel has volunteered to help Brazil recover from this disaster.

A Global Venture Superpower

In the past 20 years, Israel has established itself as a global venture capital superpower, with more start-ups and more patents granted per capita than any other nation on earth. It has also become the center for research and development in the areas of technology, communications and cyber warfare.  Just this week computer giant Intel announced that it will invest 10 billion dollars in constructing and operating a new Israeli chip plant. This factory will be located in the southern city of Kiryat Gat. While Intel employs over 11,000 people in its existing plant, there are over 15,000 available jobs now open in the high-tech industry here.  Israel as a nation has some 7,000 local high tech firms (www.timesofisrael.com)

Nobel Prize Winners

The Nobel Prize was stablished by Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel in 1895.  This prize is a set of annual awards bestowed upon individuals in recognition of cultural and/or scientific advances in six categories – Literature, Chemistry, Economics, Physics, World Peace, and Medicine. Between 1901 and 2018, the Nobel Prize has been awarded to more than 900 individuals and organizations. At least 203 of them have been Jewish (www.jewishvirtuallibary.org ).  Again, all the nations of the world have been blessed by the Jewish people.

Filling the World with Fruit

In the book of Isaiah, a prophecy is recorded and it is written that, “In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will blossom and bud and fill the whole world with fruit.” (NIV, Is. 27:6).  Israel is now a major exporter of fresh produce and a world-leader in agricultural technologies, even though its geography is not naturally favorable to agriculture. More than half of the land area is arid desert, and the climate and lack of water resources do not favor farming.  Just visit Jerusalem’s shuk (open air market) and you will marvel at the bounty that God has allowed this land and its people to produce, and bless the world with its exports.

A Light to the World

Lest we forget, the Jewish people were chosen by God, to safeguard the Torah, the Word, to be a light to the gentiles, and to bring forth the Messiah.  The LORD God declared to Abraham that because of his obedience  “In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed”  (Gen. 22:18). Jesus was the promised seed.  He is the “Light of the World” and in him, all nations will be blessed.

Pray for the Jewish people, that they will recognize Yeshua (Jesus) as their true Messiah and receive him.

Shabbat Shalom,
Gene and Marylois,
House of Peace
