“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24).
Never allow Satan to bring a spirit of condemnation on you! Always remember that he is “the accuser of the brethren” (Revelation 12:10). He not only accuses you to God as he did with Job, but he will accuse you to your face, of sins which you have long ago confessed to God, and for which you have received forgiveness. God has buried your sins in the Sea of His Forgetfulness — but Satan has not!
He tries to make you feel that you are a failure to God, to mankind, and to all who look up to you.
He hides the Scriptural Truth from you that “there is therefore now NO condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). “Oh, but you are not perfect!” Satan accuses, as he keeps reminding you of past failures, mistakes, weaknesses, and unanswered prayers. “People think you are perfect.” Satan lies to you, “If people really knew you, they would turn against you. You would bring shame and reproach to God’s name and the Holy Church!”
“Yes, yes,” says the evil one, “I know it says, ‘There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus,’ but doesn’t the text clarify just who of this Holy Company and perfected Elect are? Does it not clearly stipulate their estate is conditioned on the fact that they walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit?”
And you feel condemned yourself, because you know all too well that half the time you don’t walk in the high Spiritual path.
Accusations, condemnations, judgments against you, do not hold any authority when they come from the accuser of the brethren.
I, and I alone am your Judge! And besides Me there is no other who has authority in Heaven and Earth to condemn you. So lift up your head and walk on — because to Me you are beautiful and I see no iniquity in Jacob, nor perverseness in My Israel (Numbers 23:21).
You are my beautiful BRIDE! Our wedding day has dawned.
