Scripture Reading: John 1: 51
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. “ (John 1:51)
One of the greatest things which I have prepared for you is that you shall see the “heavens opened” over your life and ministry.
Many who serve Me, and devote their whole lives to doing “God’s work,” never ever experience an “open heaven.” This is because they limit Me by their unbelief.
If your heart is pure and without guile, you automatically are a person of faith, for “to every man is given a measure of faith” (Romans 12:3) at the time of conception, when the sperm reaches out to the ovum to unite for the purpose of creating a human life. The life in the ovum and the life in the sperm already possess the nucleus of faith in their structure.
When you were born your faith was perfect. It was the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, of which you partook in your years of growing up, which began to defile your faith, and as you allowed guile to enter your heart, with it came unbelief and ridicule, and loss of your original, pure faith.
But when you were born again the faith of God was regenerated again in your heart through the Holy Spirit. Your heart was cleansed of all its guile, and it became the new seedbed in which the Word of God could take root and grow.
You are a new creature, even as Paul wrote to the church at Corinth, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. ” (II Corinthians 5:17)
There was no guile, nor sin in your new heart which could hinder the Word of God from taking root and producing results, even glorious results. You shall henceforth see the heavens open to you, for Heaven is always open to those who are without guile, for they alone are both able and worthy to look up and see the heavens open to them. Did I not say, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God?” (Matthew 5:8)
Look away from your ruins and your ashes. Look up, My beloved child, and you will see the heavens are open to you even now.
