Scripture Reading — Daniel 1 : 1-21

“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all  visions and dreams.” (Daniel l : 17)

“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” (Daniel 1 :20)

“And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.” (Genesis 41 :41)

These two servants of Mine, Daniel and Joseph, paid a price for the gift of wisdom and knowledge that I gave to them. Joseph was hated of his brothers, sold into slavery in a foreign land, held as prisoner in chains, tempted in the flesh and separated from his brothers.

Daniel was captured in the siege of Jerusalem, carried as a captive to a foreign land, kept as a slave, rendered an eunuch, tempted by the King’s dainties and separated from the brethren.

Joseph knew I was the source of his wisdom (Genesis 41 :16) and so did Daniel (Daniel 2:23).

Because neither of them took the credit or the praise for what I did in their lives and through their ministry, they were able to bear the burden of greatness.

Not many can bear the burden of power, honour, gifts, and greatness. It is a terrible burden. If they do not give Me the credit for all I do in their lives, then they will be destroyed by these very same things.

It is My desire for all My children to have all these things but many are not able to bear the burden of greatness and wealth. Pride enters their hearts and they boast that they have made themselves great and wise and wealthy. They have forgotten that I said, “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swear unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8 : 18) Read again Deuteronomy, chapter 8.

This is your hour to be raised up into sonship and glory. I want to make you victorious and give you the fulfillment of all ages. I am preparing you for your eternal position in the heavenlies.

The Holy Spirit is working in you through hurts, rejection, pains, and suffering to prepare you to be the bride of Christ. The wedding will soon take place. You shall receive the royal crown which only the bride can wear.

Do not be overcome by your testings. Those I use to test you have been tested and have fallen from My grace. Now, look away from them and look to Me. I am preparing you to stand before Pharaohs and kings. If you do not forget the hurts you will become hurt to the core of your heart. Accept your hurts as works of grace. You have always been able to forgive your enemies. Do it now!
