“Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers the snare is broken,
and we are escaped” (Ps. 124: 7).
The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all that
despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall
call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Whereas thou hast
been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal
excellency, a joy of many generations (Is.60:14-15).
“Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to
restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks
and threescore and two weeks, the street shall be built again, and the wall even in
troublous time” (Dan. 9:25).
Dear Intercessors for Israel:
Greetings from Yerushalayim shel zahar (Jerusalem, city of gold). Jerusalem is a
city that is of many names, such as ir ha Kodesh (the holy city), Ir Shalom/ also
Yerushalayim (the city of peace), Ir Emmet (city of Truth), Ir ha Elohim (the city of
our God) and Tzion (Zion). It can also be called a city of miracles, for signs and
wonders have happened here in the past, the present day and will happen as well
in the future, when the Messiah returns. Miracles or unexplained events are
instances that reveal God’s hand and presence in our lives. Miracles can be small
wonders of deliverance, healings, provisions and/or even greater measures such
as Jesus revealing himself to his people. We wait and pray for the day when the
veil is taken off all of His Jewish people and they embrace the one “who they have
pierced” (Zec. 12. 10).
Jerusalem’s latest miracle happened less than two weeks ago when twin IED’s
(Improvised explosive devices) packed with marbles and nails detonated near two
of the city’s bus stops. Two people were killed, and another 22 Jerusalemites were
injured. The city is still on high alert as the terrorists have not been apprehended
yet. Please pray for a breakthrough for the security forces to find and arrest these
bombers.
In midst of this horrific attack, one of the survivors who wishes to remain
anonymous, revealed how the hand of God preserved his life in what only can be
said to be a divine miracle. The 62-year-old man was about to board a bus when
the bomb exploded, seriously injuring him. Most pieces of the bomb’s shrapnel hit
his arms and legs yet, he reported to the doctors treating him, that one deadly
fragment came close to penetrating his body but was stopped by a book of Psalms
he was carrying in his inner coat pocket. The shrapnel piece made its way all the
way through the pages of the book before coming to rest at Psalm 124, verse 7..
The verse reads in Hebrew: Nafsheinu K’Tzipor Nimlata MiPach Yokshim: Hapach
Nishbar, V’Anachnu Nimlatnu or “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of
the fowlers the snare is broken and we are escaped.” While the man is recovering
from his injuries, he has asked that his remarkable story of divine protection be
shared, saying “This is what helps.” Many religious Jews read Tehillim or Psalms
while either riding the bus, or as I saw yesterday, even on the elevator! It is a good
practice to fill your mind with the Word of God, and even when you are not reading
scripture, it can be your “shield and buckler.” (Ps. 91:4)/(cited in

Biden Administration Promoting “Two State” Solution and Pouring Money
into the P.A.
Last Thanksgiving week, the Biden administration announced the creation of a
special representative post focused solely on the Palestinian Arabs. This will be an
enormous upgrade in relations, on the diplomatic level of an Ambassador. A State
Department official also announced “The United States remains committed to
reopening our Consulate General in Jerusalem and to the vision of a two-state
solution.” This Consulate which the Biden Administration is seeking to re-open is in
the heart of Israeli Jerusalem and is located on Agron street. It will be solely for
Palestinians, in addition to the Embassy which President Trump relocated near the
Southern city limits (Arnona).
The U.S. State Department also announced that Since April 2021, the United
States has provided over half a billion dollars … for the Palestinians. … The U.S.
government plans to provide an additional $75 million in economic assistance to
the Palestinian people this year [and] $45 million for programs to support the
security sector.” (jpost.com). Much of this “funding” is unaccounted for once it
reaches the hands of the P.A. and is used to support terrorism, and undermine
Israel’s presence. (jpost.com)
The Biden administration also has accused Israel of “apartheid practices towards
the P.A.’s citizens and promoting illegal expansions of its own communities
(settlements) in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) all the while funding the P.A.
The United Nations approves “Nakba Day” resolution
Israel will be celebrating its 75th year of independence next year. A day, the
Palestinians have called “the Nakba” or Catastrophe. It is usually “celebrated” as
a “day of rage” all over the P.A. with rock throwing and firebombs sent against
Israelis. At the time Israel was established, the U.N. had advanced a solution
where the land would be divided into two states, with Jerusalem becoming an
International city. The new State of Israel, accepted this plan but the Arabs living
in what was formally known as British Palestine rejected it. Instead, they chose to
invade Israel with five armies and were defeated. Now they want to reverse the
time clock and go back and re-divide what they lost 75 years ago.
This week the United Nations by a vote of 90 yeas to 30 nays, approved a resolution
to hold a commemorative event for the 75th “Nakba” Day, the P.A.’s name for the
establishment of Israel. The U.S., Canada, and Australia opposed the
move. There were also 47 abstentions. Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Gilad
Erdan condemned the resolution and declared: “What would you say if the
international community celebrated the establishment of your country as a
disaster? What a disgrace!” (jpost.com) Erdan called on the UN to “stop ignoring
the Jewish Nakba” referring to the 750,000 Jews expelled from Arab and Muslim
lands following the creation of the State of Israel.
Scripture says that there will come a day when Israel’s enemies “shall come
bending unto thee; and all that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the
soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the
Holy One of Israel. Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man
went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many
generations (Is. 60:14-15).
May it be soon! May it be Today!
Jerusalem will be built in Troublesome times
Daniel prophesies that Jerusalem shall “be built again, and the wall even in
troublous time.” This word is so true! Everywhere you go in the city, there is new
construction. Projects abound, with new building arising, streets being widened,
and light rails transportation systems being constructed. This week in a public
announcement, the National Committee for the Planning and Construction of
National Infrastructures gave its initial approval for two new train stations to be
constructed in the center of Jerusalem. This new project will extend fast train
services to and from Tel Aviv in addition to the Yitzhak Navon train station which
was established in 2019. The big news is that one of these “fast link train stations
will be built about a quarter mile from the House of Peace, a ten-minute walk! Work
will begin on this new station in 2024 which will originate/terminate from what is
now known as the “First Station.” The “link” will runup to another station at King
George and Jaffa Street. This fast rail “link” is projected to be completed by 2030
(timesofisrael.com). This will be in addition to a planned cable car service to the
Western Wall (Kotel) also originating from the Old Turkish/British Train Station or
“First Station” where many new restaurants and shops are located. The House of
Peace is located more than ever is located in a strategic area, both spiritually and
naturally.
