July 25: Do It All for Jesus

Scripture Reading — Colossians 3:23-25

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” (Colossians 3:23,24)

My child, you are serving Me. If you were serving others, you would get discouraged because many times it would seem as though your work was done in vain. There is more criticism than appreciation from man. Man is ungrateful, proud, boastful, forgetful of good done for him, and critical after finding fault with that which I am leading you to do.

But your service is not for man, but for the sake of Christ. Therefore there shall be a just and eternal reward given to you for every kind deed, for every loving thought expressed.

There is no crime in serving your enemy. I have told you to do good unto him, for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.

Many of My children need deep inner healing. They have wounds and scars which are putrefied. But you must not let the stench of their wounds drive you away from trying to help them and heal them. Be a good nursing mother to all that I give into your care.

See past their weakness to the cause of it, that you may have compassion upon them, for if their wounds are not healed, the infection will take a limb and eventually a life. Many are sickly in soul and I must amputate their members. Others die ahead of time because poison has entered their blood stream and killed them. Go quickly bringing healing to all to whom I send you.
