July 29: You’ll Rise Again with a Song of Victory

Scripture Reading—Psalm 88:1-10

“Wilt thou show wonders to the dead? Shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.” (Psalm 88:10)

“Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.” (Isaiah 26:19)

One prophet asks and another answers. Yes, every single person has an appointment for the resurrection day. You have an appointment to rise and sing!

When I came to earth, the angels sang over the fields of Bethlehem. When I came out of the grave all of Heaven rang with the choirs of saints and angels. The resurrection of every saint is accompanied by songs of praise and victory.

Your bodies, too, shall sing. Even if you must come home by way of the grave a great anthem shall sound from Heaven’s corridors, and as your molecules of dust shall come together, your spirits shall descend from the Throne Room to possess your bodies which shall rise from their graves transcendent, and with your ears you shall hear the songs of Heaven and with your voices shall you praise Me, My people.

For it is even as Job said, “And though worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.” (Job 19:26)

Death cannot keep its prey. The earth shall cast out your bodies in one great quake that shall release all the bodies of My saints. The increased earthquakings of the end-time are only preparatory to when the final earthquake shall release the saints. That quake will split the graves open, and My children shall come out of their graves together, rejoicing and singing My praises. Loved ones shall meet one another in their new resurrected bodies in graveyards all over the world. And so I answer the question of the Psalmist, “Yes, I will show wonders to the dead. The dead shall rise and praise Me. Selah!”
