September 16: For My Name’s Sake, I Will Do It

Scripture Reading—Psalm 106:1-12

“Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.” (Psalm 106:8)

It is for My honour that I hear your prayers and answer them. My reputation is at stake before you and all the world. So it is that I show My glory and My power to all who call upon Me. I must honour My Name. I have many names (or titles) and each one is powerful.

I am Jehovah-Raphah, the Lord that healeth thee. Therefore I must honour My reputation to heal all your diseases (Exodus 15:26).

I am Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and I will provide all your needs, whether it be for a meal, a ticket, a home, clothing, or a way of salvation and deliverance.

I am Jehovah-Nissi, the Lord your banner of victory (Exodus 17:15). You never will suffer defeat when you let Me fight your battles for you.

I am Jehovah-Shalom, your God of peace (Judges 6:24). I will bring peace into every situation of your turbulent life.

I am Jehovah-Shammah, the one who is always present (Ezekiel 48:35). Did I not say, “Lo, I am with you always…” (Matthew 28:20).

I have many names and titles and I will honour every single one of them. Do not doubt. Come to Me and I will show you My glory, even for My own Name’s sake.
