“Neglect not the gift that is in thee” (1 Timothy 4:14).
That was what St. Paul commanded his spiritual son, Timothy, in his last letter to him. It is a question that God will one day ask the Church, as they stand before the Judgment Seat of the Believers, when we will have to give an account of our talents and gifts (Matthew 25:14-30).
Most of the Gifts I have given My Bride are still lying unopened. She has been too busy with her earthly pleasures to take an interest in the costly, heavenly gifts I have prepared for her. She would rather adorn herself with costume jewellery, than the “pearls of great price” I redeemed at a great cost, and it grieves Me. I weep for my “poor bride” who has substituted what is “in fashion” for priceless “heirloom jewels.”
Some of My children even despise and speak against them and think they are not genuine, and that they came from My enemy. They do not know how great their loss is. My grief over the rejection of the Gifts which the Holy Spirit has brought to earth is so great that it is the one sin that cannot be forgiven.
Even under the Old Covenant My people rebelled and vexed My Holy Spirit; therefore I was turned to be their enemy, and I fought against them (Isaiah 63:10). When I was on earth I warned, “All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men” (Matthew 12:31). The Greek word for blaspheme is blasphemia. It means “abuse against someone [and] denotes the very worst type of slander… wounding one’s reputation by evil reports, evil speaking.”
When I did miracles on earth My accusers said, “He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils” (Matthew 9:34).
Believers can die untimely deaths because of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. That is what happened to Ananias and Sapphira. Peter said to Ananias, “Why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost?” (Acts 5:3).
Never try to lie about what the Holy Spirit has done in and through people’s lives, because the Holy Spirit is Truth; and Truth is reality. When you say that His works, and the miracles He does are of the devil you rob God of the honour that is due to Him, and accredit the devil with these marvelous works. Truth will always win. You cannot fight Truth with Satan’s lies. If you try, you will become a tool of Satan. Never touch the gifts of the Holy Spirit, nor the vessel He uses. Walk softly before the Lord, lest you die the death of Ananias and Sapphira!
