Loving greetings from the Valley of Angels! It’s been years since we have spent this many weeks in a row in our home! Wow! But the time seems to be flying by faster and faster!
Is your world being shaken? It surely looks like it here! The writer of Hebrews refers to the Voice of God that brings great shakings. “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:25-29 KJV).
Psalm 114:7 says, “Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.” The Lord is moving in the earth, and the earth is responding with excitement!
All the birth pangs that we are experiencing now are a part of the shaking away of whatever can be shaken so that the Kingdom of God will be established in the earth. It begins in our hearts.

Convention 2020
We have all been eagerly awaiting our first convention as Global Outpouring! We were so excited to find the new venue right at the airport in Dallas, Texas. Even though we had heard the words of the prophets warning us about the times we are now seeing, we have stood ready to brave the storms and move forward to obey God at any cost, trusting Him to lead us at every turn.
Sometimes, however, God speaks through circumstances. Due to the SARS2 virus (AKA covid-19) lockdown, none of our international delegates have been able to make plans to come, and many who are considered “high risk” have opted not to attend this year. Our numbers have fallen below 25%. Our hearts continued to press forward, trusting that God can do with few what He had on His heart.
Then the last few days the news came out that the virus infections have spiked in the Dallas Fort Worth area, and nervous people began calling to inquire if we were really still having the convention.
So, after much prayer and thorough discussions with the Director of Events at the Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel and our Board of Directors, we felt the leading of the Lord to cancel the Global Outpouring Convention 2020 at the Hyatt Regency DFW. The hotel was gracious in releasing us from our contract without penalty. God bless them!
We are planning instead to hold Convention 2020 as a “virtual event” from Engeltal via YouTube. We plan to bring musicians here for the event and some of the speakers will speak to us via today’s technology instead of in person.
When the Lord spoke to us to make changes, we didn’t expect it to be this kind of change! But like Abraham who did not waiver in faith, neither will we! We feel that God is thrusting us to the cutting edge. Even though we don’t get to do it the way we have always done it, this is no time for nostalgia! This is the time to prepare for the global outpouring of the Spirit of God! He has a Plan for great good and exceedingly abundant harvest.
I am reminded of how God had to work with Gideon to reduce his army twice so that the number was so small that everyone would know that it was God that gave the victory. We thought that we could do what God wanted us to do in Dallas with the small number that had committed to come, but apparently he had an even smaller number in mind. The number here in Engeltal will be very small, but we trust that we will be able to reach into the nations in a way that would be even greater than we would from Dallas. We are determined to trust and obey!
A couple of years ago our ETH from Japan, Ester Ruth Wahrer, took time off to attend the convention, but wasn’t able to come physically. She checked into a local hotel and got herself onto our time zone to participate in the convention and she was very blessed. If you have already taken time off, consider really shutting yourself away in some way so that you can participate as fully as possible through the live streaming that we will have on our YouTube channel. Trust and obey!
Raise Up an Altar of Worship
Perhaps you remember in our last prayer letter I told of a prophetic intercessor in Argentina who called me with the Word of Lord: “I need you to raise Me up an altar of worship. I bless you.”
As I was in prayer this morning, the idea came to me that when we are not having live sessions here during this convention time, we can be having worship teams from around the world leading for about an hour and a half each to fill the time so that we will have 24/7 activity in the heavenlies, mostly worship, except when we’re having the speakers. We haven’t begun to put together a schedule yet, but we have reached out to a number of our ETH&S in the nations to see if they would raise up worship teams to lead these sets. The response is beginning to come in with excitement to participate, Hallelujah! We plan to bring each team into the live stream so that the sound can go around the world, hopefully 24/7 during the Convention. The nations will present their own sound at the Throne. I believe that this is at least part of what the Lord meant when He asked us to raise up an altar of worship.
So you can tune in to be a part of not only the services, but you can even leave your computer or device on 24/7 so that the sound of worship will go up into the atmosphere in your locale, creating a network of worship around the globe (even if you are sleeping)!
